Dr. Scott Jacobs’ Story
Dr. Scott Jacobs joined North Bend Dental in 2019. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and has a Master’s degree in Public Health from UK. Before joining the practice, he held a faculty position in Endodontics at the UK College of Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Alli, and his twins, Amelia and Henry. He enjoys bow hunting and fly-fishing.
Dr. James Abadi’s Story
Dr. James Abadi was born in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended Virginia Wesleyan College, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business and was a decorated four-year starter for the men’s varsity soccer team. Dr. Abadi returned to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). Following his DMD program, Dr. Abadi was accepted into UK’s General Practice Residency, where he received advanced training in Root Canal Treatment, Cosmetic Dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, Implant Dentistry and Dental Extractions.

I had the best experience with Dr. Abadi and staff. Everyone was amazing. I'm terrified of going to the dentist. I've had so many poor experiences previously. I felt heard and understood. I didn't feel pressured at all. They treated me kindly 🙏 I have extensive issues with my teeth but was reassured that they could help. I cried at the front desk which is hard to admit publicly, but I believe it needs to be said. I'm excited for the future. ❤️
